ABOUT
Marymichael Neushul

Marymichael Neushul’s interest in admissions began while she was an undergraduate student at the University of California Santa Barbara, where she worked in the Admissions Office and provided tours to potential students. After graduation, she attended the University of San Diego Law School and received a Juris Doctor. She worked at a large law firm in Riverside, California, for several years before taking time off from her legal career to raise her two daughters. She resumed her interest in admissions when her oldest daughter started looking at colleges during high school.
Marymichael completed UCLA’s College Counseling Program with Distinction. She interned at One College Avenue and gained invaluable experience assisting high school seniors with their college applications. Eventually, she decided to open her own boutique college counseling office. She provides expert advice by working with a small number of students in each grade level. Marymichael has visited over 100 colleges and universities. She attends several conferences each year to stay on top of recent developments in the admission field. She hopes to reduce the stress in the admission process by providing students and families with an understanding of what colleges are looking for and the steps necessary to gain acceptance.
Marymichael currently lives with her husband in Newport Beach, California. Her oldest daughter graduated from Duke University in North Carolina, and her younger daughter attends UC Berkeley. She frequently speaks to local groups about the admission process. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association(HECA). She was honored to receive the title of Certified Educational Planner in January of 2023. She is one of only four college counselors in Newport Beach and one of forty-four in California with this prestigious distinction.

TESTIMONIALS
Thank you, thank you, Marymichael!! You have made this process a lot easier and less overwhelming. If I had tried to do this with Kate on my own, our relationship would have been put to the test. We are very proud of Kate, and we believe she will end up with the right college at the end of this.

Thank you again for all your help with Katherine's college applications and essays. Your guidance made it easier for her to go through the process with minimal stress. If I knew better, we would have started consulting with you in her freshman year. Rest assured, if I know of someone who will be needing guidance for their children in high school, I will definitely recommend you.

Additional parent and student recommendations upon request. Several of my families have volunteered to speak directly with potential clients.
